How to fit a bathroom door handle.
If the doorknob is on the left you need a left handed door.
Place the door lock against the face of the door on both sides and pencil in the hole on the door lock where the door handle has to be drilled into.
The process is simple given the right tools you should be able to install your new lock in around an hour or so.

Drill two holes through where you made the marks.
This allows you to pull the door knobs off the door from both sides.
The strike side the side with the lockset of these doors has a beveled edge so the door can swing freely.
Now you should be able to place the handles and lock turn button which forms part of the handle against the door face and fix correctly using the screws etc provided.

Next fit the door lock in the hole and screw it into place.
In some cases door latch plate mortises might need to be cut or enlarged.
Begin by removing the screws from the door knob on the interior side of your door.
If the knob is to the right select a right handed door.

Remove the two screws from the latch plate on the edge of the door and remove the latch from the opening.
